The horned sea star, or chocolate chip sea star, is an invertebrate species found in shallow lagoons and coral reefs of the Info-Pacific region. It is nicknamed for the circular markings on its dorsal side, which resemble chocolate chips. While some species of sea star can have up to 40 arms, the horned sea star has five. This species has the ability to change its colors to appear more dangerous and frightening to predators.


Available in Natural Colouring and Bleached. Approx. 1-2 & 6-8 inches wide.
